Serhii is a prizewinner of many international piano competitions. Serhii won the First Prizes on the following piano competitions in the United States: Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition in Radford, Virginia; Five Towns Music and Art Piano Competition in Hewlett, New York; W. Byrd International Piano Competition in Flint, Michigan and Baltimore Music Club Piano Competition in Towson, Maryland. He also won the Third Prizes on The World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio; Mary Graham Lasley Concerto Competition in Alexandria, Virginia and International Piano Competition in Naples, Italy.
He has been a featured soloist with such orchestras as Flint Symphony, Michigan and the World Symphony of Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as with Dnipro Academic Symphony, Zaporizhzhia Academic Symphony and National Symphony of Ukraine, in addition to several Conservatory Symphonies in Ukraine and the United States.
Mr. Morozov also performed recitals in major philharmonic halls of Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Greece, Portugal and the United States. His performances have been broadcast on television and radio stations of Ukraine and the United States.
Serhii holds his Master of Music degree from Moscow State Conservatory, Russia, and his Doctor of Musical Art degree from the University of Maryland in College Park. Dr. Morozov served as a piano professor at Towson University, Maryland. He appeared as a jury member at Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition and the Baltimore Music Club Piano Competition, in addition to his work as a judge at several local piano competitions, organized by Maryland State Music Teachers Association and Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association.
A part of Dr. Morozov's repertoire is dedicated to the genre of piano arrangements (transcriptions) of works, not originally for piano. He currently has 4 such programs in his repertoire: Piano Transcriptions of Classical Music Favorites, Piano Transcriptions of S. Rachmaninoff Songs, Piano Transcriptions of P. Tchaikovsky Songs and Operas, and Piano Transcriptions of G. Gershwin Works.
